Carol Bennis

Marketing Consultant/Managing Partner

Carol began her career with A.T. Kearney, an international management consulting firm, where she was the first female consultant hired in the Midwest Services practice. Her strategy development skills were honed working with Fortune 100 clients like Hoffman-LaRoche, Firestone Tire & Rubber, General Electric, Alcoa, LTV Steel, Whirlpool and the radiator and bicycle Factories of the Peoples Republic of China.

As a member of KeyCorp’s strategic management team, she participated in the merger restructuring of its national commercial banking division, moved its Corporate Bank to the best in the nation for customer satisfaction and challenged its sales organization to embrace analytics-driven prospecting to achieve double-digit growth in less than a year.

She readily confesses that some her best and most fulfilling work has been in economic development: designing the Access to Capital Network for Northeast Ohio and guiding merger consolidation activities for the Greater Cleveland Partnership; launching MAGNET: the manufacturing advocacy and growth network and the launch and branding of Beet Street: an arts-focused initiative.

With a considerable history of launching products and companies, fixing organizational issues and designing successful capture strategies for emerging and established businesses – her work is now devoted to guiding the aspirations of entrepreneurs and designing growth initiatives for companies of all sizes in her own consulting practice.
